Music has returned to NLSS!

The Fall 2009 semester at NLSS provides a select group of students the opportunity to pursue an interest in Music. This is a Grade 10 Music course that will cover a broad range of music styles and forms, largely centred around the guitar as a performance instrument. Students will learn basic to intermediate guitar techniques, along with an introduction to simple music theory. By the end of the semester it is hoped that student's will have expanded their musical knowledge and tastes, culminating in an attempt to craft an original song that demonstrates their own performance ability.
