Thanks to our community and employer support, our Coop program continues to provide Northern Lights Secondary School students with the opportunity to broaden their experiences and to obtain valuable workplace training.   

This year, we were delighted to have 9 students successfully register as apprentices under OYAP (Ontario Youth Apprenticeship Program).  This program gives students the opportunity to begin accumulating skills and hours towards certification in one of the 137 skilled trades in Ontario while earning high school credits.  With continued support from our business partners, we are looking to expand OYAP enrollment for the 2005/2006 school year.
